Rutgers football 2025 commit Gerrick Gordan is set to transfer high schools
Gerrick Gordon, a three-star offensive lineman who recently pledged to the Scarlet Knights’ football team RU is planning a last season in high school by transferring to a new program.
Offensive lineman Tyler Moore, who stands at 6-5 270, said he is transferring from Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida to Carrollwood Day Patriots. He has recently changed his school and attend Tampa, Florida. He grieved to Rutgers over the end of the week while he was on trip.
To be true, Rutgers got a fine recruiting prospect in Gordon, considering the young man had interest from the likes of Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, Purdue, South Carolina, SMU, Tulane and West Virginia for a player in his position.
Carrollwood Day is set to have Gordon in the 2024 season; the team was doing well in the last season with a 8-2 performance. The Presidents of The Patriots team that participated in the last season earned 420 points and held the last rank of flu schools’ rank in Florida.
In year 2023, Gordon was made all-county as well as a two-way player for his high school team Trinity Catholic. On the offence, he mainly concentrated on the left tackle and the left guard positions while on defense, he played the nose guard position.
He is presently ranked the 38th best interior offensive lineman in the country as per Rivals. The opportunity offered to Gordon by Rutgers was in March this year .
