Monroe High School Football coach passes away after fight with cancer
I am here to share bad news, upsetting even for me – Toby Golembiewski, the Head Football Coach at Monroe High School, has died.
The information was shared with the public on Monday through the official page of School District of Monroe on the Facebook social network site.
Sadly, we release that MHS Football Coach Toby Golembiewski passed away. ” Sadly for soccer and the world, Coach G stared cancer down and has now passed to coaching from the heavens. Toby was the head coach of our Monroe Cheesemaker Football team for eight years and during those years we were able to make into playoffs seven out of the eight and we became the Division 3 State Champions in 2022 being award the golden football for being the only undefeated team in the state.
There are numerous ways that athletics, friends, family, and indeed the whole community are benefiting from the efforts of Coach G. I know that he will be highly missed by the members of the #CheesemakerPride #CheesemakerStrong”
That is why after our experienced basketball player Golembiewski won that state championship he was diagnosed with colon cancer and makes people get checked up and have normal checkups.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi Hann, a son Max Hann and a daughter Sophie Hann.
