High school football returns to Historic Bosse Field for throwback game

It is a great time for our community that for the first time in a 13-year period, an official high school game will be conducted at their historic stade, Bosse Field!

Correct: It's time then, that Wednesday 18th of October this season, the Memorial High will put on a show against the Castle Knights on their home ground which is also a football training ground. It's 100 years celebration for the Memorial school, in the next year; this throwback game will be held between the two rivals.

Before schools made their own stadiums, there was an occasion that high schools act at the Bosse Field a lot due to its accessibility to students. It will serve as a second timer, though, after 1971, where high schools will face off at Historic Bosse Field.

Of course, Memorial vs. Although Castle is a good game having rivalry that goes back several years, Memorial Athletic Director Chad Dockery feels that it is mostly not just about the game.

He stated, “We wish to mark though not just the Memorial and the Castle, but what football really means to our town. It is a rare privilege to be able to bring this wonderful history of the franchise and the fans who have contributed to develop this community.  The fans will certainly have a lot of fun as we will be able to fill the entire space with their support.  It is a great event, which has not only the school teams at stake, but the whole history of the neighborhood around. ”

Remember also that Bosse field will host different events throughout the year, starting from October 18. Buy the tickets either online or offline using the school’s website.
