Four-star safety Lagonza Hayward picks Tennessee football over Georgia and Florida
Lagonza Hayward a 2025 safety ranked in the top of the class has agreed to join Tennessee football program.
Hayward made the disclosure over the commitment on Saturday using his Instagram account.
Those talents will be going to Tennessee for the next four years he said.
Hayward will be a four-star next year, as he sits as the No. 10 safety and No. 95 on the overall list in the 2025 class according to 247 sports composite.
He is a 6-1, 200 pound player, to be precise, from Toombs County High School, situated in the town of Lyons, in the state of Georgia.
Hayward opted for Tennessee ahead of Georgia and Florida. He also had other scholarships include Southern Cal, Alabama, Florida State and South Carolina amongst other several institutions.
Heyward in his junior year in 2023 has 48 tackles, 3 TFLs, 4 PBUs, 3 interceptions, and 1 fumble forced. He also handled the position of a wide receiver and received 26 balls passing through 727 yards as well as seven touchdowns. And he returned a kickoff for a TD. ”
