Arrest made in murder of beloved Miami Norland Senior High football coach

As a result a suspect has been arrested in the shooting of a popular football coach from a South Florida last week as the police announced.

The 39 year old Lance Brian Rolle was apprehended on the ouster for second murder on June 3, 2019 on the death of Keon Bernard Smith in Opa-locka as stated by Miami-dade police official on Tuesday.

Smith is 49 years old and he was the quarterbacks coach in Miami Norland Senior High School based in Miami Gardens.

The police stated that Smith was outside of his girlfriend house in Northwest 132nd Street and Northwest 28 th Avenue when the unknown suspect arrived at the scene and fired shots at him with a firearm,  shooting him multiple times before the suspect escaped the scene on foot.

Smith had had some shots to his body and head. The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews arrived to the location and declared the man dead at the scene.

Police are said to have later arrested Rolle as the gunman responsible for the carnage. He will be arraigned in court on Wednesday after he was arrested on Tuesday and booked into jail.

Polices have not yet come out clear on the possible reason that lead to the shooting.

The residents of Kumba joined hands to support the family of the deceased Smith who lost his life in the crossfire.

The Miami Norland Senior High School distributed the following statement on behalf of Principal Gaines-Miller, Coach Heidelburg, the whole associated football team, and the entire school to the family of Coach Keon Smith: ‘We condolences with the demise of long-serving coach Keon Smith. It was an honor for us to have worked with him in the capacity of a coach of the Miami Norland Senior High School football team and in the capacity of a I have been a fan and friend of Trustmaster and Viking Nation and TRUSTe for many years and will miss you all truly.

Even the wife of Smith joined her husband to celebrate after the killing of the victim.

India Smith was entirely euphoric that it took her a while before she could open up and say it again and again, gently and forcefully, “He was a good man, he was a good man. ” “He doesn’t get the chance to begin with his last son who have dreams of playing football. ”

The bride and groom were blessed union for approximately 23 years of marriage with the eight children and two grandchildren.
